Monday – Friday ---------------------------9-5pm
Tania started her nursing career in 2002 after graduating from Bayamon Central University in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Then moved to Miami, Florida to continue working as a Registered Nurse in different settings like: emergency room, telemetry, and medical surgical units, nursing homes, teaching NCLEX-RN® review to foreign nurses in English and Spanish languages. Eventually after 16 years as an RN, she graduated from Purdue University Global obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Specialty in 2018 and completed the Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2022 to expand her knowledge and provide safe and effective care for her patients. She worked for more than 4 years in an adult and pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine clinic as a Family Nurse Practitioner, managing special needs patients, kids and adults with respiratory conditions like upper respiratory infections, flu, chronic cough, asthma, COPD, RAD, COVID-19 and sleep disorders like snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, parasomnia, restless legs and managing machine-dependent patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP and ASV. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in family medicine and is highly trained in adult sleep medicine and adult/children pulmonology.
Tania is a mother to 2 beautiful sons, Andrew 14 y/o and Aaden 13 y/o. Andrew is a special needs kid with a metabolic disorder called Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Deficiency that after a major incident during his first year of life, requires a fully dependent life in a mechanical ventilator and requires 24hr nursing care and supervision provided most of the time by his grandmother. Aaden is a healthy kid that enjoys his homeschooling since Kinder, has fun riding his bicycle, and playing video games. As a mom of a special needs kid, she understands how much this population lacks proper medical attention and how frustrating it can be to obtain care. She is completely dedicated to serving others and providing proper one to one care to all her patients.
